Traits
Double Puff Add-on (★ Rare)
A pecular trait that's sprung up here or there that causes their moth puffs to double. There's no downside to having two in each ear outside of needing to groom a bit more than usual. The benefit to these puffs are that their capacity to gague the wind and catch pollen doubles!
-
Trait:🔹 Two puffs appear to grow out of the base or center of each ear.
🔹 These puffs may be as long as the wrists or as short as the jawline.
❗ Applying the Long Puff add-on causes both of the puffs to gain the length of the modifier.

Long Puff Add-on (★ Rare)
....
-
Trait:🔹 A set of long moth puffs grow from the base or center of the ears.
🔹 The puffs trail well past the skullcracker's body, up to two full body lengths.
❗ This trait may be applied to any ear set and if applied to the Double Puff add-on will cause those to extend to the length of this trait.

Long Bowroo Ears (★ Rare)
Ears, but make them longer!
-
Trait:🔹 Any lop ear type may be made long with this modifier, reaching about as far down as the Bowroo's feet.
❗ Bowroo ears must be placed behind the horns.
❗ This modifier only applies to lop (hanging) bowroo ears, rather than any type that sticks up or outwards.
Ear Length Example🔹 Long Bowroo ears may drop down to around the Bowroo's ankles. They should not obviously drag on the floor from a standing position.
Mismatched Horns PB (★ Uncommon)
A horn modifier that causes one horn to appear drastically different than the other. As plumes, Pawbirds with the trait often have very minimal differences until they begin to enter their adolescence, where the difference is incrementally greater. Once they hit teen-hood, their horns shift dramatically, cementing them with the trait.
Trait:
- This trait allows you to use two different horn traits on a single pawbird.
- Horns may be freely chosen from the common tier, but would require the appropriate trait items to apply an uncommon, rare, or other higher rarity horn style.
- This trait does not grant you an uncommon horn style of choice and will require an additional trait vial to gain an uncommon style.
Long Bowroo Tail (★ Rare)
A tail that goes on, and on, and on, and on!
-
Trait:🔹 A very long tapering tail that ends in a dull, pointed tip.
❗ Fur must be an equal length down the entire tail!
Tail Length Examples🔹 When considering length, Common Bowroo tails are about the length of the body, but may be a little longer. 🔹 Rare Bowroo tails are multiple times the length of the body.
Elfin (Odd)
Elfin Crederians are "teacup" versions of their normal selves. An odd mutation that used to be called "pocket babs". These mantibabs are small, roughly 1 - 3 feet in height, and it seems that their ears and tails often look large due to their small size.
Pocket babs often display unusual traits:
- 1 - 3 ft in height
- Fur along their front arms below the nubs
- oversized ears and tails that look better suited to babs twice or three times their size
- no claws

🔹 Wings may range from small to large, and may be stacked. With each set of wings requiring a new trait item.
🔹 Wings are capable of movement, and can be seen opening and closing as a natural butterfly would.
❗ You may have ONE set of wings*. (The legs may have a partial wing on the set that does not have the full wing)
❗ Wing Halves may be placed in any of the sections, and do not have to be symmetrical.
❗ Wings may not be purely white, black, or grey. On mantibabs, they must be clearly saturated, though they may be dark or pastel.
❗ Aquiring this trait does not grant you the feyblood subtype.

Firefly Companions (Summer) (★ Seasonal)
...
-

🔹 While moving, the motes of light do not appear frequently, appearing in more numbers once the Crederian is standing still.

❗ The trait may be depicted mostly as floating balls of light, but there should always be at least one firefly visible.
❗ The balls of light are always perfectly circular and cannot shift or move to appear like ovals or other shapes.

Crederian Firefly (Summer)
The humble firefly only gives off light when their bulbs are charged, taking in the energy from the sun and storing it like a battery. During flight, they tuck their limbs into their bodies, giving their wings unimpeded space to flit about. These creatures are surprisingly difficult to find, with most often coming across their residual light motes instead of the firefly itself.

Firefly Companions (Winter) (★ Seasonal)

🔹 While moving, the motes of light do not appear frequently, appearing in more numbers once the Crederian is standing still.
🔹 Fireflies can appear in a variety of pale blues, whites, dull pale browns, and greys and have a light capable of ranging from various pinks, reds, and orange hues.

❗ The balls of light are always perfectly circular and cannot shift or move to appear like ovals or other shapes.

Crederian Firefly (Winter)
The humble firefly has taken on a hardier form, able to absorb energy from the sun much more efficiently than their summer counterparts. Their lights charge quickly and give off a piercing light able to be seen even during snowstorms. During flight, they tuck their limbs into their bodies, giving their wings unimpeded space to flit about. These creatures are extremely difficult to find, with soft motes of residual light sometimes able to be found. As companions, these fireflies may shine too bright for some, and if asked can tone it down and fall into "reserve-light" mode.
