Skullcracker coats come covered in all manner of spots and stripes. A classic known to encompass much of the skullcracker population is their variety of diamond shaped spots, stitched together in various designs. Diamond coated and diamond armored they're called.

  •  Diamond Spotting:  
    🔹 any open or closed diamond shape, which includes slightly shaped "twinkles"
    🔹 Diamonds can be linked together in chain motifs, or be free floating.

Rings & Lines SC (★ Common)

Species: Skullcracker

Skullcracker coats come covered in all manner of spots and stripes. Rings and lines are commonplace, and often lend themselves to accentuating the spots a skullcracker may sport.

  •  Rings & Lines:  
    🔹 Thick or thin lines and bands can be placed anywhere on the body, with striped tails being one of the most common markings found within the species. These lines can be solid or infrequently broken up.

    ❗ All common markings can be mixed and matched freely and there is no limit to how many and what kind you mix!

Stripes & Curves SC (★ Common)

Species: Skullcracker

Skullcracker coats come covered in all manner of spots and stripes. Curving stripes are commonplace, and can create almost hypnotic patterns on a skullcracker's coat.

  •  Stripes & Curves:  
    🔹 Natural striping, swirls, simple lace, and cloudy outlines all fall into this category. Stripes under this trait tend to be more organic in shape.

    ❗ All common markings can be mixed and matched freely and there is no limit to how many and what kind you mix!
Trailing Stripes SC

Skullcracker coats come covered in all manner of spots and stripes. From long and winding stripes that lazily cross the coat; to thin, jagged lines that look as though were brought on by a streak of lightning. 

  •  Trailing Stripes:  
    🔹 Thin jagged streaks, long coiling stripes, or elongated paint trails are among the allowed markings.

    ❗ All common markings can be mixed and matched freely and there is no limit to how many and what kind you mix!
Winter Star Spots

  •  Winter Star Spots:
    🔹 An assortment of stars have laid themselves across your coat, pulsing in soft beats of light that twinkles gently in the dark.
    🔹 Winter stars are composed of multiple lines or points intersecting a center point. These should not be confused with seeing star spots.
    🔹 This trait allows for smaller stars smattered around the coat, or a single large star with sparse little ones elsewhere.

    ❗ Stars may not be connected by lines or be depicted as constellations. 
    ❗ Stars give off a soft glow

Simple Floral Markings SC (★ Common)

Species: Skullcracker

Skullcracker coats come covered in all manner of spots and stripes. The blooms found in the sky have always had a special relationship with skullcrackers, and their bodies carry with them the spirit of these blooms. Simple flowers and plant-like markings are very common in most skullcrackers from birth, with those who pursue a stronger relationship with nature gaining more intricate floral patterning.

  •  Simple Floral:  
    🔹 Ivy, wheat, spigs of leaves, and simple flowers are welcome to be used across a skullcracker's coat.

    ❗ All common markings can be mixed and matched freely and there is no limit to how many and what kind you mix!

  •  Sweet Trail Spots:
    🔹 Hearts should be connected to thin "stems" or vine-like markings. They may border the stem or be applied in wheat-like formations.
    🔹 Hearts may be hollow, filled, or bordered by additional colors.

    ❗ Markings must follow all species color rules.
    ❗ Free floating heart spots may be applied without needing the additional "Lovestruck Spot" trait as long as they are near the main trail markings.

Love Potion Spots

  •  Love Potion Spots:
    🔹 Hearts appear to have wisping traits that end in tapered points. 
    🔹 Heart wisps can connect to one another or be placed alone on the coat.
    🔹 Some portions of the markings extend off of the body in transparent wisps that are drawn upward. These markings seep upward and break up as they extend off the body.

    ❗ Markings must follow all species color rules.
    ❗ Heart wisps must be connected physically to a marking on the body. Lone hearts are not able to extend. 
    ❗ This marking cannot have free floating trails following behind the body.

Floral Marks

Floral Marks (★ Seasonal)

Category: Markings

A series of markings that appear as flat depictions of flowers in all shapes, sizes, and colors. From real world to fantasy, multicolored blooms adorn the coat in whimsical patterns.

  •  Floral Marks:
    🔹 Flowers should be depicted flat, with clear indication that they are markings, and not physical flowers on the body. 
    🔹 Flowers do not have to be realistic, and can be multicolored floral shaped rings and spots or depicted abstractly. 
    🔹 You are not restricted to one type of flower, and can place multiple flower types/shapes along the coat. 

    Roses and thorns are not available under this trait and are restricted for Feyblooded Crederians.
    ❗ While these are flower markings, accenting leaves and petals are ok. 
    ❗ Simple Flowers depicted as flat solid icons are available commonly for Leloko and Skullcrackers, but would not be able to resemble the intricacy of this trait.

Ivy Trails

Ivy Trails (★ Seasonal)

Category: Markings

A series of markings that appear as flat depictions of ivy and vines across the body.

  •  Ivy Trails:
    🔹 Ivy should be depicted flat, with clear indication that they are markings, and not physical vines wrapping around the body. 
    🔹 Styling of leaves does not have to be realistic, but should not look like flowers or hearts. 
    🔹 Colors should be appropriate for the species, but have no restrictions otherwise. 

    ❗ Ivy is commonly available for Lelokos and Skullcrackers, and does not need the seasonal trait to be applied.
