Branching Horns

Branching Horns (★ Mythical)

Species: Mantibab

A set of impressive horns that branch out simply. These horns are said to have been passed down by the Feyblooded, although that may be due to them resembling branching wood in shape. 

  •  Branching:  
    A pair of curving  horns that bring to mind simple tree branches, or antlers of a sort.
    🔹 Horns should stand tall and curve simply, or with a wave. The tips can curl in any direction.
    🔹 This horn style can point backward, upward, or forward as long as it still follows the guidelines and general depictions.

    ❗ The branching nubs on these horns should have a rounded tip, even if ending in a thinner point and should not resemble Thornstruck.
    ❗ These horns have an allowance of 3 - 5 branching points, not incluing the tip of the horn itself.
    ❗ "Branches" should be short, no longer than the depiction on the right.

La Lune Horns

La Lune Horns (★ Mythical)

Species: Mantibab

An odd set of mismatching horns that perfectly grow to depict a crescent moon shape, said to be a blessing from the moon itself, as thanks to the Crederians who hold it dear to them. 

  •  La Lune:  
    Two horns that curve into a crescent moon.
    🔹 The crescent can face left or right, but should retain the size and mismatching.
    🔹 The base of the horns may encroach on the eyes, but shouldn't cut through them, although it may cut through the brows or cheeks.

    ❗ The horns should never meet at their points, and should have a bit of space between them.
    ❗ The base of the horns can be a bit lower along the side of the head, or where depicted in the image.
Jacob Horns

Jacob Horns (★ Mythical)

Species: Mantibab

An set of horns that give an unsettling appearance to a Mantibab, considered demonic in origin, having also been depicted on murals on the heads of ancient monsters.

  •  Jacob:  
    Four horns that are evenly placed, with two curving back, and two curving forward.
    🔹 Each pair of horns should alternate direction, but it is not strict on which pair points where.

    ❗ Horns may wave or curl simply, but should not twist.
Mutton Horns

Mutton Horns (★ Mythical)

An set of horns that encompass the helm of a bab's head with thick, curving horns that give a softer, graceful appearance to your Mantibab. 

  •  Mutton:  
    Four horns that are evenly placed.
    🔹 Each pair of horns may curl either forward or back, and may both curve in the same direction.
    🔹 This horn would be considered an upgrade to the Basher or Recoil horns, and may be depicted similar to either style, but with an additional set of dense horns accenting them. 

    ❗ Horns may be depicted a bit smaller or larger than example. 
Citadel Horns

Citadel Horns (★ Mythical)

Species: Mantibab

An set of horns composed of two large standing horns with accenting horns along its sides. Citadel horns were popular amongst those craving power over others and are still found on murals of wars long past.

  •  Citadel:  
    A set of 6 - 8 horns wrapping around the head of your Mantibab, with the center two being the clear focal point.
    🔹 Accenting horns should be no longer than half the length of the main set of horns, but may be any length under that in any formation.

    ❗ While traditionally pointed at the tips, they may be rounded if preferred.

Nub Horns

  •  Nubs:  
    🔹 These horns should be akin to gumdrops in shape, and should be small, but large enough to peek out over general hairstyles

A set of small, pointed horns that end in rounded or sharp points.

  •  Points:  
    🔹 These horns may curve slightly, or tightly back, but should not curve forward.
Gentle Horns

A set of simple, curving horns that point forward, giving a gentle, herbivorous look to its bearer.

  •  Gentle:  
    🔹 These horns may curve forward, or backward, and should slope similarly to what's pictured.
Buff Horns

A set of thick, sharp horns that point up and lend it's bearer a more agressive look. 

  •  Buff:  
    🔹 These horns should always be thick and short, but may curve outward or inward.
Fawn Horns SC

Fawn Horns SC (★ Uncommon)

A set of horns that curl softly forward and end in two rounded prongs in the shape of tiny antlers. The smallest of the deer-horn trio.

  •  Fawn:  
    🔹 These horns should point upwards, and their second prong should be anywhere on the back/top side of the horn.

    ❗ Only 1 extra prong is allowed per uncommon horns.

 

Doe Horns SC

Doe Horns SC (★ Uncommon)

Species: Skullcracker

A set of horns that curve backwards, ending in two soft rounded nubs that merge at the tips.

  •  Doe:  
    🔹 These horns have an almost "heart" shaped tip to them, and can be depicted with one taller and one shorter nub, but both should be placed at the end of the horn.

 

Buck Horns SC

Buck Horns SC (★ Uncommon)

Category: Horns
Species: Skullcracker

A set of horns that stand tall that end in a rounded nub, with a single forward facing prong on each horn. The strongest looking horn in the trio of deer-like horns.

  •  Buck:  
    🔹 Horns should be thick, and point upwards with a slight curve.

    ❗ Only 1 extra prong is allowed per uncommon horns.
Prong Horns SC

Prong Horns SC (★ Uncommon)

Category: Horns
Species: Skullcracker

A set of horns that proudly curve towards one another, standing tall with a single prong at each outer end.

  •  Prongs:  
    🔹 These horns are meant to emulate a "wreath" very simply, and should not touch at the tips. 
    🔹 The prongs may be placed anywhere along the outer or inner edge, as long as the base shape is still there.

    ❗ Only 1 extra prong is allowed per uncommon horns.

 

Curved Horns SC

A set of large and thick horns that curve backwards elegantly, giving a menacing appearance to its bearer.

  •  Curved:  
    🔹 These horns should end in sharp, cuved points.
    🔹 The base of the horn should be the thickest point, and can be thicker, or thinner, than pictured.

 

Cervid Horns

A set of horns that stand tall and elegantly curve slightly, covered in rounded prongs that give a regal, deer-like appearance to its bearer.

  •  Cervid:  
    🔹 These horns are  long and may curve forward or backward slightly.

    ❗ You may have 3 - 5 extra prongs on each antler.
    ❗ Horns should be reasonably symmetrical.

 

Lope Horns SC

A set of horns that stand tall and slightly swirl backwards, small prongs giving a branch-like appearance.

  •  Lope:  
    🔹 These horns are meant to emulate "antelope" horns, with the optional additions of extra prongs.

    ❗ You may have 2 - 5 extra prongs on each horn.
    ❗ Horns should be reasonably symmetrical.

 

Forest Horns

Forest Horns (★ Rare)

Species: Skullcracker

A set of horns that stand tall and curve back end end in small curls. Sharp prongs adorn the sides of the horns giving its bearer a more menacing appearance.

  •  Forest:  
    🔹 These horns may differ in direction, but should depict a long horn with sharp prongs.

    ❗ You may have 3 - 5 extra prongs on each horn.
    ❗ Horns should be reasonably symmetrical.

 

Ram Horns SC

Ram Horns SC (★ Rare)

Species: Skullcracker

A set of horns that curl backwards behind the ears, reminiscent of certain mountain dwelling creatures.

  •  Ram:  
    🔹 These horns are meant to emulate "Ram" horns, and should be large enough to comfortably wrap around the ears and curl up by the sides of the face. 

 

Jagged Horns SC

Jagged Horns SC (★ Rare)

Category: Horns
Species: Skullcracker

A set of horns that stand pointed, and serrated along it's edge, giving its bearer an intimidating appearance.

  •  Jagged:  
    🔹 These horns may differ in direction, but should depict a long horn with even points in a jagged/serrated pattern on one edge.

    ❗ You may have 3 - 5 extra prongs on each horn.
    ❗ Horns should be reasonably symmetrical.
