Astera Bloom

Astera Bloom (★ Uncommon)

Category: Flower
Species: Leloko

Note: All Lelokos have a mouth at the center of their flowers! This mouth most often looks like a 4 - 6 pointed star that looks like a dome when closed to mimic the center of a flower and is present in every Leloko tail.

Astera blooms are admired across Leloko culture, with their lush dense petals and large size making them an alluring flower. The petals are thin and numerous, rendering them not as prehensile as other flowers, often only being able to open and close mildly. This detriment often goes unnoticed, with many Lelokos assuming the bearer is simply more in control of their emotions.

  • Trait:
🔹 Adds a multi-petal bloom most similar to a chresanthemum to the tail tip of your Leloko
🔹 Astera Blooms should resemble a ball in shape regardless of customization and can have curved or curled petals to add to the illusion.
🔹 Petals are thin and often long but may be layered with long and short petals within reason.
🔹 Flowers may have tatters along the edge or end of the petals and may also be missing petals.
🔹 Flowers may be any color and may be patterned with any species appropriate markings. (applying uncommon or rare markings will require a trait vial of the same rarity)

❗ All flowers have an "open" and "closed" state. With Astera Blooms, the transformation can be subtle or significant depending on how well your Leloko can control their petals.

Veiled Bloom

Veiled Bloom (★ Uncommon)

Category: Flower
Species: Leloko

Note: All Lelokos have a mouth at the center of their flowers! This mouth most often looks like a 4 - 6 pointed star that looks like a dome when closed to mimic the center of a flower and is present in every Leloko tail.

The dazzling veiled bloom is often overlooked for their simple appearance when closed. They often resemble the standard flowers, albiet with more petals, and can appear "overstuffed". Their true beauty lies in their relaxed state, broad and laden with beautiful petals. From sleek to ruffled the veiled blooms are showstoppers!

  • Trait:
🔹 Veiled flowers follow the shapes of the [standard flowers], but are clearly filled with more petals than is commonly allowed.
🔹 Petals may be straight, curved, ruffled, or jagged.
🔹When opened, the center mouth is surrounded by short petals that may share colors with the rest of the bloom, but often appear to stand out from the rest. They may also help make the center mouth pop while the petals themselves blend into the rest of the flower.

❗ Veiled blooms may have small decorative petals, but may not include filaments, pistils, or seeds of any kind that give the bloom a different texture on the inside.

Eonia Bloom

Eonia Bloom (★ Uncommon)

Category: Flower
Species: Leloko

Note: All Lelokos have a mouth at the center of their flowers! This mouth most often looks like a 4 - 6 pointed star that looks like a dome when closed to mimic the center of a flower and is present in every Leloko tail.

Eonia blooms are often called the "water bearers" due to their capacity to hold a large amount of water. The petals are tucked tightly against each other and can fan out to form a cup or "bowl". They're popular in gardening circles, able to dexterously manouver water to hard-to-reach areas or in unconventional ways where a bucket just wouldn't cut it.  These flowers are also able to be used as umbrellas when turned upside down!

  • Trait:
🔹 Eonia blooms are ball-shaped flowers with medium-sized petals that, when opened, closely resemble peonys.
🔹 Blooms should be layered with numerous flat petals that curve slightly to give the bloom the "ball" shape.
🔹 These flowers can open wide, often resulting in a bowl shape.

❗ Eonia blooms cannot resemble roses or rose-like flowers. Petals cannot be curled just at the tips.

Filament

Filament (★ Uncommon)

Category: Flower
Species: Leloko

A closer fascimile to the flowers that Lelokos take after may sometimes crop up on their tails, appearing like small tendrils that may be capped with a bulb or leaf-like shape. Filaments are prehensile and sensitive, able to lightly taste and touch things they come across. Lelokos can be seen tapping their meals from all sides to "study" the flavors more closely before chowing down!

  • Trait:
🔹 Adds 1 - 5 Filaments to the center of your flower, protruding from the "mouth".
🔹 Filaments may be as patterned as the Leloko is, with gradients, striping, and speckling being most common.
🔹 Filaments can end in a single point, or prong into two, with each tip able to have the aformentioned bulb or leaf caps.
🔹 The Filament trait can be applied to additional flowers gained through other traits if you already have the trait applied (meaning no additional uses of the uncommon trait are required)

❗ Filaments can come in any color, but should not fall under higher rarities without the appropriate trait (Rainbow/iridescent gradient, metallic, sparkling, etc)
