Filament Cover

Filament Cover (★ Rare)

Category: Tail
Species: Leloko

On rare occassions, the hormone that allows a Leloko to grow filaments in their flowers is created in excess, spilling through the tail and causing filaments to appear along the length of the tail. These filaments can wiggle and move similar to their uncommon counterparts, but aren't developed enough to fully taste or sense, though they are still capable of both in some capacity.  Some consider it a hormone imbalance, and may strive to "cure" it, while others find the delicate nature of the filaments to add an elegant element to the Leloko.

  • Trait:
🔹 Allows for the application of [Filaments] onto the entire expanse of the tail. Design rules would follow the uncommon trait.
🔹 Filaments may be mixed and matched and do not have to follow a single design.
🔹 Filament placement can vary and does not have to cover the entire tail. Any filaments on the tail would fall under this trait.

❗ There is no limit to how many filaments you may apply, but should be identifiable as filaments and cannot be used to create the illusion of fur, hair, or leaves.

Filament (★ Uncommon)

Category: Flower
Species: Leloko

A closer fascimile to the flowers that Lelokos take after may sometimes crop up on their tails, appearing like small tendrils that may be capped with a bulb or leaf-like shape. Filaments are prehensile and sensitive, able to lightly taste and touch things they come across. Lelokos can be seen tapping their meals from all sides to "study" the flavors more closely before chowing down!

  • Trait:
🔹 Adds 1 - 5 Filaments to the center of your flower, protruding from the "mouth".
🔹 Filaments may be as patterned as the Leloko is, with gradients, striping, and speckling being most common.
🔹 Filaments can end in a single point, or prong into two, with each tip able to have the aformentioned bulb or leaf caps.
🔹 The Filament trait can be applied to additional flowers gained through other traits if you already have the trait applied (meaning no additional uses of the uncommon trait are required)

❗ Filaments can come in any color, but should not fall under higher rarities without the appropriate trait (Rainbow/iridescent gradient, metallic, sparkling, etc)
