Faux Coat Ruff

Faux Coat Ruff (★ Uncommon)

Category: Ruff
Species: Pawbird

A style of ruff that gives the pawbird a commanding presence, with fur that lies heavily against the shoulders. This ruff was popularized by the more fashion-forward of the species, often matching their clothing to accentuate their lucious fur.

Trait:
  • Fur grows densely along the shoulders and around the back of the neck, giving the illusion of a fur coat's lapels or hood trim.
  • The fur may grow longer in the back down towards their mid-back as well as down the front to their waist.
  • The throat should be kept bare.
  • Fur may be straight, wavy, or lightly curled.
  • Fur may not grow long along the shoulders past the example shown.
  • Fur may not be depicted as hair-like in texture.
