[WTW PART 1] SHE'S A BEAUT

The shadow figured to be a tourist Bab who was visiting for the festival, as some friends told him about it. It was one of the first times Accipiter had seen the ocean, as he had grown up and lived most of his life near the central lands where the most relatable bodies of water were lagoons and rivers. The smell of the ocean carried by the summer breeze was unique, and salty but refreshing, and Accipiter was enjoying every second of it. The different decorations around the city caught his eye, and he left some sakura petals in his way, leading some villagers and tourists to believe that this effect was also part of the festivities. So, he usually hid around the crowd so no one would see that they were coming from him. A new city also meant new food and delicious things to try! Accipiter was ecstatic about these discoveries, and his Quetz, called Cherry, was more than ready. Cherry was flying at a relatively short distance from Accipiter, observing the view from above and following him wherever he went. Some small creatures were fascinated by the small critter and tried to run in its direction. Cherry performed some acrobatics and flew away, evading the small ones and landing on Accipiter's back, ready to recover from the summer heat.

Accipiter asked some locals where to find the best ice cream, and some of them recommended shops at the beach. With notes and directions in hand, Accipiter walked down to the shore and visited all the ice cream shops, inquiring about their signature flavors and offerings. As he approached the last store when he spotted a small skullcracker fading on the sand. He ran directly to him covered with his cape and asked Cherry to bring some water. After some minutes, the skullcracker reacted and called a name while waking up "MACEO!!". "Are you okay? I'm not the one who you are looking for, does the one you are going after look like me? I can ask Cherry -he pointed his flying critter- to search for someone like me"- told Accipiter while giving him more water. "He doesn't look like you, he's tall and majestic and has long wavy hair as the ocean waves with a beautiful and aquatic tail...a rare to see...Jeweled Crederian. His pelt is warm as a sunset where it meets the ocean with a blue gradient from his half" - Atlantis said, being proud and happy after each one came from his mouth. "A jeweled bab...I only saw some around the city, but not one of them are as that description, kid" - as soon as Atlantis heard the word kid, he blushed and replied without thinking - "I'm not a kid!!! I may be short but that doesn't mean I'm a winglett! I'm a full grown adult"- Atlantis says while trying to stand up, a little bit wiggling due to the fatigue. "It was not my intention to be disrespectful to you, I apologize fellow Crederian...-before he could end his phrase Atlantis replied- "Atlantis!...that is my name...not just a random Crederian...nameless one". "My bad...I didn't introduce myself due to the events... I am Accipiter and this little fellow is Cherry, my loyal Quetz!, We are not from this area so I don't know anyone here...". Atlantis moved his head and accepted the kind of apology. "I'm Atlantis and I'm not from here either; however, Maceo my partner is...but I can't find it, some crederians were saying that some events are happening at the sea so I'm hoping to gather materials and create a sail to go and find him".

Accipiter was looking at all the bags and materials Atlantis was trying to carry and felt moved, it was more clear than water that the short skull cracker was not going to be able to carry all those bags to the town alone. "I can offer my paw and help you carry all your stuff, I'm not asking anything in return so don't worry about payment or anything! I will feel bad if I leave you here with the heat and all those bags, while you accept my help. - Accipiter asked while raising his paws so Atlantis could grab it. "Okay! - he turned his head all proudly- no payment after and anything else right? I may accept your help... I need to find Maceo the faster I can so I will accept...

Accipiter smiled and carried the heaviest bags, Cherry was also helping and grabbed some small ones with his claws and started flying in their same path. Atlantis grabbed the last bags with some wood and started telling Accipiter where to go...as he already contacted one craftman for the boat help. The group walked for some minutes until Atlantis gave some directions, saying that the craftsman shop was near while waving to the owner. "It's there, thank you so much for the help...Accip... mmmm Aship...-Accipiter stopped him while finishing the phrase- "Accipiter! -he smiled again- don't worry, my name is not an easy one to remember! Hope you can find your partner soon Atlantis!" - Accipiter was already turning back from the shop and was stopped by Atlantis- Once the boat is completed you would like to see it, before I sail and go searching for him? And once I encounter Maceo, you would like to know him too? I would like to introduce to him the one that hel...hel...helped me today -he almost shouted that last part all embarrassed. "Yeah...of course! When that will be, I will be around town for the festivities -Accipiter was watching Atlantis who gave him a signal of 5 days- I will be back after that, and see the boat all finished" - Accipiter replied while waving back to Atlantis, and leaving the shop.

"Please, Mr. Craftman...try to do it faster than you can so I can go and search for Maceo soon, if you need more materials, I can search for more! The shop owner who was the main carpenter told Atlantis that he didn't need to worry, his boat would be ready maybe sooner than anticipated, and that he would do his best to make it very resistant. Atlantis returned some days later for the painting process and gave some directions to the craftsmen for the colors. The boat was a medium-sized boat, more than perfect to hold Maceo and Atlantis weight, it was decorated with some seashells on the top and some wood decorations all along the sides, and for the colors... what could you expect from Atlantis if he was going to search for his partner... a boat with the same colors as his coat! A warm sunset with some blue notes all long, the sail was bright, white with some light blue tones and diamond motifs...the perfect blend between boat coats.

5 days passed and Accipiter walked to the shop, where he spotted Atlantis admiring the boat at the shore...already prepared with some bags and food for the trip. "It is beautiful...so that was the colors you were telling me...indeed, they look warm and beautiful as the ocean, I brought you some soda as a celebration and this ice cream...I was tasting different ones from different shops and this one is amazing - he gave Atlantis a strawberry pop one- try it and be prepared for the delicious flavor...you will be ready to sail as soon as you finish and will find your partner in a blink of an eye...! - Atlantis say all enthusiastic with a smile on his face- "Thank you...Accipiter -Atlantis said with some tears on his eyes but with a big smile- I will try my best and search for him". Both were eating the popsicle while Cherry was flying above their heads, admiring the boat too.
